At The Dental Centre Ferndown, we kindly ask patients with a cold sore that has lasted less than two weeks to postpone any non-urgent dental appointments until the contagious period has passed. This is due to the increased risk of virus transmission and the possibility that your lips may be sore, crack, or bleed during treatment.
If you require urgent dental care, such as experiencing pain and needing immediate attention, please contact us promptly.
Should you develop a cold sore before a scheduled dental or hygienist appointment, please call us as soon as possible. We will be happy to reschedule your non-emergency treatment at your convenience.
