Ingela Engfors

Ingela qualified as a dentist in 1989 at the Faculty of Odontology, Gothenburg University, Sweden. She worked for ten years as a general dental practitioner and in 1999 she started work at the Branemark Clinic in Gothenburg. This gave her excellent experience in implant treatment, crown and bridgework and dentures. Ingela gained Specialist Status in Prosthodontics, in Sweden, in 2003. Ingela also started as a clinical tutor at The Faculty of Odontology in Gothenburg to educate the dental students. For some years Ingela was president of The Gothenburg Dental Society. She moved to the UK 2016.

Maria Rodrigues

Maria graduated from ISCS in Lisbon, Portugal in 2004 and she has gained 14 years of experience in general dental practice, primarily in Dorset. She completed the MSC in Implant Dentistry November 2010. She provides high quality dental care in a friendly manner and aims to ensure your dental experience is as relaxing and positive as possible. She enjoys all aspects of family dentistry and she is particularly passionate about Implant Dentistry. Like all of our practitioners, she will give advice on how to achieve good dental health. Maria lives in Bournemouth with her husband and daughter. She enjoys travelling, salsa dancing and seeing friends and family.

Sade Oluwalana

Sade was born in Norway and graduated from Peninsula Dental School Education Facility, Plymouth in 2015, and has gained experience in general dental practice, primarily in Dorset. She provides high quality dental care in a gentle manner and aims to ensure your dental experience is as relaxing and positive as possible. She enjoys all aspects of family dentistry. Like all of our practitioners, she will give advice on how to achieve good dental health. Sade lives locally with her husband and two children. She enjoys running, cycling, swimming, reading and spending time with friends and family.

Lorna Sanders

Lorna graduated from Bristol University in 2001 and has gained 15 years of experience in general dental practice, primarily in Dorset. She provides high-quality dental care in a friendly manner and aims to ensure your dental experience is as relaxing and positive as possible. She enjoys all aspects of family dentistry and is committed to postgraduate education. Like all of our practitioners, she believes prevention and education are key to good dental health. Lorna lives in Ferndown with her husband and 3 children. She enjoys skiing, days at the beach and family camping trips.

Tracy Ryan

Tracy qualified as a dental Hygienist in 1999 and joined us in 2003. Tracy has many loyal patients and has a wealth of experience in private practices. Tracy works closely with all our dentists.

Evelyn qualified 1994 and joined the Practice 2007. She has many years of experience working in private practices and many loyal clients. Evelyn works closely with all our dentists.

Hannah Geddis

Hannah started dental nursing at the age of 18, once qualified in this she then moved on to the University of Portsmouth where she studied to be a dental Hygiene/Therapist. Starting at The Dental Centre Ferndown in July she is now building up her book to see patients on a bi-weekly basis. When not at work she enjoys travelling and spending time with friends.

Sharon Roberjot - Dental Nurse

Sharon has worked at The Dental Centre Ferndown for 46 years; she has gained knowledge in all aspects of dentistry. Now choosing to focus on nursing for implants and for the last few years with the periodontal specialist.

Outside of work, Sharon enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, walking her dog Max through the woods and along the beach and travelling the world.

Kirstie Westmore

Kirstie achieved her NEBDN diploma in dental nursing in 2013, she has previously worked within the NHS and private practices. Working at The Dental Centre since 2017 she has expanded her knowledge to work with implantologists, sedation patients and more recently Invisalign.

During her own time, she enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, eating out and reading.

Hayley Petty

Hayley qualified in 2002 with an NEBDN diploma in dental nursing. She has enjoyed being a nurse in all aspects of dentistry for over 20 years, in the last 5 years she has qualified in sedation to help assist the dentist with nervous patients.

Hayley enjoys long walks with her dog, spending time with her family and weekly ice skating.

Olivia Bacon

Olivia qualified in February 2024 with a Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing, although she has worked at The Dental Centre since 2021 assisting with Dr Sade Oluwalana. She enjoys all areas of dentistry but is looking forward to assisting with more complex surgeries in the future.

Outside of work, Olivia loves spending time
with her friends, traveling, going on long beach walks and going to the gym.

Ilana Clarke

Ilana has worked at the Dental Centre since November 2023 and is completing the Level 3 Apprenticeship in Dental Nursing. Her favourite areas in dentistry are surgical procedures and orthodontics.

In her spare time, she enjoys caring for her chickens and guinea pigs at home, attending music events, and going on walks.

Laura Taylor

Laura has worked in the dental sector for 15 years within NHS and private practice. Having been at The Dental Centre since 2021 she has enjoyed working with the team and increasing her depth of knowledge of dental procedures.

In her spare time, Laura enjoys history, spending time with her family and singing in a soul band.

Wendy Wrixon

Wendy has worked at The Dental Centre for the last 8 years. As a huge asset to reception, she enjoys that every day is a new challenge and always is expanding on her dental knowledge.

During her own time Wendy enjoys walking her dogs, shopping and travelling.

Diane Chatfield

Diane has worked at The dental centre for the last 25 years, previously as a dental nurse helping with all oral surgery and implant which she enjoyed for many years. Now working on reception keeping the practice running and greeting everyone with a warm smile.

Outside of work Diane enjoys looking after grandchildren, walking and crafts.

Kelsey Green

Kelsey achieved her NEBDN diploma in dental nursing in 2013, previously working for the NHS as a dental nurse. In September 2023 she took on the role of Practice Manager at The Dental Centre Ferndown and enjoying a new challenge.

In her spare time, Kelsey enjoys spending time with her two daughters, visiting new places and spending time at the beach.

Revathi

Revathi graduated from Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University, India in 2010. Since 2016, she has been practicing general dentistry in the UK. In 2022, Revathi completed her Masters in restorative dentistry with distinction at the esteemed Eastman Dental Institute.

Her MSc work has been published in the Journal of Dentistry, a leading dental journal. She guides young and aspiring dentists as an educational supervisor.

Tony Walsh

Tony Walshe graduated in 1988 from Otago University, New Zealand. He gained entry into the Royal College of Surgeons (England) in 1995. In 2003, Tony completed his Masters (Advanced Restorative Dentistry) at the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute. Tony has many years of experience as a practising dentist. His areas of special expertise are implants, cosmetic dentistry, facial aesthetics, crown/bridge work, veneers, teeth whitening and IV sedation. He is also an internationally published writer in the area of aesthetic dentistry.
