Tony Walshe BDS, MFGDP (UK)
MSc (Advanced Restorative Dentistry) BA

Tony Walshe graduated in 1988 from Otago University, New Zealand. He gained entry into the Royal College of Surgeons (England) in 1995. In 2003, Tony completed his Masters (Advanced Restorative Dentistry) at the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute. Tony has many years of experience as a practising dentist. His areas of special expertise are implants, cosmetic dentistry, facial aesthetics, crown/bridge work, veneers and teeth whitening.
He is also an internationally published writer in the area of aesthetic dentistry.

Janine Johnson BDS

Janine graduated in 1988 from Otago University,New Zealand. She has practiced both in the UK and New Zealand and has gained valuable experience in all aspects of dentistry. Janine regularly attends courses to update and improve her knowledge,and in 1999 completed a one year postgrduate course through Bristol University. Her special interests include restorations,extractions and cosmetic dentistry.

Noel Graham BDS

Noel graduated in 1974. Following this he entered the hospital service where he gained valuable experience in various aspects of clinical dentistry, ranging from children’s dentistry to oral and maxillofacial surgery.

Noel then entered general practice in 1979 where he continues to maintain a keen interest in preventative and cosmetic dentistry and brings with him a wealth of experience

Tracy Ryan

Tracy qualified as a dental Hygienist in 1999 and joined us in 2003.  Tracy has many loyal patients and has a wealth of experience in both NHS and private practices.  Tracy works closely with all our dentists in addition to working alongside our Specialist in Periodontics.  Tracy can be found at the practice on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Roy Bent

Roy joined us in 2006 and can be found at the practice on Tuesdays.  Roy qualified as a Hygienist in 1983 and brings many years of experience to our practice.  Roy has a good rapport with his patients and works closely with all our dentists.

Evelyn O'Carroll-Benabit

Evelyn joined us in 2007.  Evelyn qualified as a Hygienist in 1994 and brings with her a wealth of experience from both NHS and private practices in addition to working at the Eastman hospital.  Evelyn works closely with all our dentists and also alongside our Specialist in Periodontics.  Evelyn can be found at the practice on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays.

Tarnia Clements - Practice Manager

Tarnia is the practice backbone responsible for the day to day smooth running of the practice.  Tarnia is often hid away in the office managing the matters that you don’t see such as financial aspects, clinical governance, marketing, legal requirements, personnel, patient complaints, dentistry compliance and the list goes on.

Tarnia is always happy to talk to patients and welcomes patient feedback.  If you would like to discuss anything or have any suggestions for our practice then please don’t hesitate to contact her.

Paula Stribling - Denplan Co-ordinator

Paula has worked alongside Nigel for many years and previously managed the practice.  In addition to working on reception, Paula now deals with the denplan administration and is responsible for looking after all of our denplan patients.  Please don’t hesitate to contact Paula should you have a denplan query.

Pam – Receptionist

Pam is our long standing team member having worked for the practice for some 20 odd years.  Pam has a good rapport with all our patients having known many of them for several years.  Pam is always on hand to help patients and provide support to the rest of team when required.

Diane – Head Dental Nurse

Diane has been with us many years and holds a very demanding position of head dental nurse, ensuring all the dentists and dental nurses are happy and looked after in addition to ensuring the practice is always well stocked with supplies.  Diane is also our nurse, working alongside the Opus team within the Opus clinic.  GDC registration - 126073

Sharon – Dental Nurse

Sharon is one our oldest team members having worked here for some 20 odd years.  Sharon has a good rapport with her patients and works alongside Dr Tony Walshe. GDC registration - 128031

Gail – Dental Nurse

Gail has also worked here for many years covering nursing and reception duties.  Gail works alongside Miss Johnson and Mr Graham. GDC registration - 123311

Sam – Dental Nurse

Sam is our latest recruit working alongside Mr Stribling and Miss Johnson.  Sam also helps out on reception during our very busy periods and is always on hand to assist patients. GDC registration - 161406
